Inherit the Past and Usher in the Future (1986)

1986 is a transition perid in Chunlan's development history. This year, Chunlan carried out the first larger-scale technical renovation, which lays a solid foundation for Chunlan to enjoy the highest reputation in China 's air conditioner market in future. From then on, the enterprise stepped onto the road of flourishing.

Flourish (1987-1990)

This stage is the flourishing period in Chunlan's development history. Chunlan formed the batch production capability of air conditioners and became the "leader" in China 's air conditioner industry.

Growth (1991-1994)

This stage is the growth period in Chunlan's development history. Chunlan expanded market by centering round air conditioner products and finally formed the scale production capacity of air conditioners. In 1994, Chunlan became China 's largest air conditioner production base and one of world's top air conditioner players.

Expansion (1995-1996)

This stage is the expansion period in Chunlan's development history. Chunlan launched the first five-year plan "100 projects" and established the framework of "on the basis of air conditioner industry, implement industry expansion and form diversified operations". In 1996, Chunlan began to get involved in household appliances, autos, electronics and overseas industries.

Today's Chunlan (1997 to now)

Through the new round of management system innovations, Chunlan has established "Chunlan Innovative Matrix Management" system in an all-round way. Its core idea was "unified planning, horizontal legislation, vertical operation, resource sharing and combined combat". The management matrix established on this basis reduced management layers, eliminated information barriers, improved the initiative and creativity of operation departments on the basis of strengthening unified planning and regulatory management, quickened response to market and better solved the unified and separate contradictions of the management of large enterprise.

Since "Chunlan Innovative Matrix Management" was launched, the level of enterprise management greatly improved and results were outstanding. In particular, since six public platforms, i.e. Information Platform, R & D Platform, Operation Platform, Fund Platform, Purchase Platform and Logistics Platform, were established in 2000, various decentralized resources have been optimized and combined, the standardization of operation of various businesses has been greatly intensified, scientific and technological level has continually increased, the development of new products has been further accelerated, comprehensive costs have been continuously decreased and the capability of participating in global market competition has been quickly enhanced.
