To raise Chunlan's scientific research level and promote the combination of Chunlan's production, study and research, on January 6, 1997, Chunlan took the lead in China to establish a post-doctoral workstation.

Since its foundation, Chunlan and the mobile station have actively contacted and exchanged with participants in electronic information, energy sources, home appliances, automobiles, machinery and other fields, and established long-term or individual project cooperative relationships.

To present, Chunlan post-doctoral workstation has handled close to one hundred research projects. These include high energy nickel hydrogen battery research, structural finite element analysis research and applications, air conditioning sound quality technology research and application, modeling design of electrical appliances, compressor vibration research, air flow field analysis, networked home appliances development, motor combustion analysis research, and electronic information product research. All of these have achieved substantial progress.
