Recently, according to the news, in the first "Chinese standard innovation Contribution Award" appraisal, Chunlan's "hybrid electric bus with dynamic power system" and "room air conditioners installed norms" standards boarded winners list for the unique advantages of in aspects of the degree of innovation, the degree of international, economic social benefits and application of the market.

It is understood that "Chinese standard innovation contribution award" is China's highest authority in the field of standardization awards established by the Administration for Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) and National Standards Committee.

It is understood that Chunlan has been participation in the formulation of a number of national standards recently. Chunlan not ony plays an important role in the international standards development of ordinary products such as appliance, power and engine but also drafted national standards of the audio and video, network  appliances, and other high-tech fields.
     
At present in our country, enterprises generally concern about compliance with technical standards and their sense of standard-setting is very weak. With more and more overseas markets' "technical barriers", lack of standards becomes Chinese enterprises' lingering pain. Lagging of China's stardards in global market is one of important reasons for the technical threshold.

In fact, looking at the reasons for the lagging of China's standards, we find that many enterprises not only lack of awareness, but also lack of strength.  It is popular in international community that first-class enterprises set standards, second-class enterprises follow standards and third-class enterprises take orders from standards. Experts pointed out that the establishment of China's products' standards in international markets entirely depends on improvement of domestic products' standards. So Chinese enterprises need to practice "internal organs" and pay attention to the importance of setting of standards so as to make contributions to optimizing China's standards system and improvement of the international competitiveness of domestic products.
